On Saturday night February 18 something magical happened in Kennebunkport Maine. Stan brought Wes Wirth and Dave Zoffer up from Boston to play at Jean Briggs art gallery for an intimate set of great improvizational jazz. Jean has run the gallery for 27 years and had jazz there for the last 7 years. Some great players have performed there over the years. Here is what Jean said about Stan's performance:

"The Stan Strickland Trio, with Dave Zoffer on piano and Wes Wirth on bass, was certainly one of the most magical performances we've had here in the seven years the Music at Mast Cove series has been in existence.  The audience was mesmerized! My phone didn't stop ringing the next day, with fans wondering when they would return. I'm so looking forward to having them back!"
